Justin Krik is a trusted real estate attorney with nearly two decades of experience guiding individuals, businesses, and developers through the complexities of property, business, and other contractual transactions and litigation.

Prior to joining Astor Weiss Kaplan & Mandel, LLP, Justin spent over a decade at a full-service boutique real estate practice and later founded his own law firm, where he provided general counsel services to a diverse client base for several years — a background that shaped his strategic, results-driven approach to service. Now as a partner at Astor Weiss, Justin’s affiliation with a multidisciplinary team allows for seamless collaboration not only with attorneys accomplished in real estate and business matters, but also with those focused in estate planning, domestic relations, and commercial litigation — providing clients with comprehensive, well-coordinated legal support across a wide range of needs.

He represents clients in matters involving residential, commercial, and industrial properties, and his practice spans the full lifecycle of real estate deals — from pre-purchase due diligence, financing, and acquisition through development, stabilization, use, and disposition. Justin regularly advises on commercial leasing, land use and zoning, title issues, municipal regulatory compliance and licensing, and condominium ownership. He also has significant experience advising lenders and investors in foreclosure actions, sheriff’s sale proceedings, and related title clearance issues, allowing him to effectively navigate both the procedural and calculated aspects of distressed asset recovery.
