Our History
The firm was founded by Paul C. Astor in 1954 and services clients in diverse practice areas.  The firm has attorneys with expertise in a broad range of areas of law and can offer our clients the expert legal services that they require. Legal services are provided to public and privately-owned companies, non-profit institutions, and individuals.

A commitment of the firm's partners and attorneys to public service in addition to excellent legal services started the first day and continues today. A number of our attorneys have gone into public service. Some have become members of the judicial and legislation branches. A former partner, Madam Justice Sandra Schultz Newman, became the first woman supreme court justice in the history of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  The Honorable Berle M. Schiller is a judge of Federal District Court of Eastern Pennsylvania. The firm has a strong sense of respect for charitable, civic and cultural organizations and associations. The strength of the firm has always been our people, who are talented, dedicated, and experienced individuals who will keep this tradition going.
