Background

Frances Freedman is an associate of the firm, with her practice focused on Publishing, Commercial Law, Contracts law, Corporate law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Before becoming an attorney in 1996, Ms. Freedman worked in publishing in the Philadelphia, New Jersey and Boston areas. She raised venture and partnership capital for major publishing companies and assembled and managed winning editorial teams.

As president of CitySport Network, a corporation formed to publish regional sports magazines, Ms. Freedman founded and published PhillySport and SportBoston. Ms. Freedman was also a publisher and founder of Atlantic City magazine and president of Applause magazine. Ms. Freedman currently serves as the Editorial Consultant to Atlantic City Weekly, an entertainment newspaper based in Atlantic City.

As a business person and entrepreneur, Ms. Freedman handled many transactional matters, financial planning and management issues, helping her to bring extensive business experience to her legal practice.
